An Amazing Testimony

The following is a testimony by Adele Thomas, who lives in
Bundaberg, Queensland, Australia:

"I was a very active 47 year-old who loved walking and
riding my pushbike. I always preferred to ride rather than
take the car. I was very actively involved in community and
church activities. I also worked full-time in a Nursing
Home. Our home was always full of friends for meals and I
enjoyed cooking for those less fortunate than me. I simply
enjoyed life to the fullest. I had lived in a third-world
country for five years with my husband and two teenage
daughters. We saw and cared for many folk suffering with
various diseases. I always had a heart for these dear
people, although I had never really experienced any major
sickness myself. But that was soon to change.

"In January 2001 pain struck my body with searing force
and my muscles began to ache continuously. I lacked energy
and I eventually became as weak. I did not have the
strength to hold a coffee cup to my mouth and chores that
once were undertaken with gusto became impossible to
perform. Each morning I would pull myself along on my
bottom on the polished wooden floor to get to the bathroom
so I could sit in the shower and allow the hot water to
thaw me out and give some relief from the pain. My vision
was becoming blurred and I could constantly see black spots
before my eyes. Signs of depression were also setting in. I
no longer could perform my role as homemaker, wife and
mother. I had to give up caring for those elderly people
who so desperately need the help and care of those who
genuinely love working with the aged. I was slowly being
robbed of my vitality and it seemed as if my life was
ebbing away. I wanted to die and I prayed many times that
the Lord would take me home.

"During the months of my illness I had been to many
doctors, specialists and naturopaths. I was diagnosed,
first with FIBROMYALGIA, then with RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS,
and finally with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. Drugs and supplements
were the only answer offered me. I avoided the drugs as I
had seen the results of years of drug taking in the aged
folk for whom I had cared. So I was swallowing 64 different
supplements a day as well as 30 drops of other concoctions.
I was a walking Health-Food Shop with no money left in the
bank.

"My cousin was visiting Queensland from New South Wales
and he told me about THE HALLELUJAH DIET. I decided it was
worth a try because my future didn't look good. Only the
day before my cousin's visit, I'd been to a Specialist in
Brisbane who'd told me I'd be in a wheelchair within two
years. I immediately began juicing and eating a raw food
diet on 8th May 2002. I will never forget the first five
days as the toxins began to be released from my body. I had
almost every reaction one could get. I was vomiting, had
diarrhea, was shivering cold, and had a constant migraine
for four days and my face broke out in a severe rash. On
the sixth day, as soon as I awoke, even before I moved a
muscle, I knew something was different.

"On that beautiful morning of 13th May, 2002 I WAS ABLE TO
SWING MY LEGS OVER THE SIDE OF THE BED AND WALK TO THE
BATHROOM. Tears flowed as I was overcome with emotion.
SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN IMPROVING DAILY. I AM NOW ABLE TO
WALK, RIDE MY PUSHBIKE, ENTERTAIN AND LIVE A RELATIVELY
NORMAL LIFE! My friends and family are amazed at the
dramatic results that are irrefutable evidence for all to
see. I HAVE NEVER FELT SO WELL! On saying that, I must
admit that during the last three years I have sometimes
lapsed back into careless eating habits, only to find that
within weeks I'm lacking energy, not sleeping well and
generally not feeling well. Does this not prove that what
we eat is what we are? I give thanks to my Lord and the
many people who have been praying for me. I believe my
health is my responsibility. This was especially so in my
case as there was nothing the doctors and other health
professionals could do for me. I don't think about being on
a diet. It's more a lifestyle change.

"We all make choices daily - what we wear, where we go and
what we feed our bodies. Since I've been feeding my body
living, healthy food, it has responded positively and begun
to heal itself. If you're suffering from some health
problem, then change your eating habits. You're never too
old or too sick to make that change."
