I Can't Complain

I just have to post this video I found on the net tonight of one of my favorite songs by the original author and artist--Don Johnson, former Superintendent of ALJC. I learned the song off of his album years ago and have sung it ever since then.

New Bluegrass Gospel Band

I joined a bluegrass gospel band last month. I met them through mutual friends on Facebook, and then discovered Joey is my 2nd cousin!

We've done a couple of sings so far and I'm really enjoying it. I play the fiddle for the group.

Hannah's House

This is the assisted living facility where I worked midnights for a while, Hannah's House in Marietta.

Verna Tuxhorn, the owner, is preparing food in the kitchen where I worked many nights preparing dishes for the next days' meals. I also did laundry, cleaning, ADL's, meds, and transportation.

Wedding Dress

This is Bonnie and Pasi Sikio on their wedding day. I made her wedding dress and her bridesmaids dresses. Bonnie's was one of many wedding and bridesmaid's dresses I made over the years.

This was my life-size doll as a child. Now Kylie dresses her up in Natalie's dress.
