A Day at the Park

I took the youth group to the park, and guess who showed up! My long lost son whom I hadn't seen for four months! It was so good to see him again. We had lots of catching up to do. He sure is getting tall, isn't he?

Jill on Ice

Here I am trying to coax Ashley from her safe chair onto the ice. The youth group had lots of fun, and I actually learned how to ice skate without falling once!

Rollerskating

I took the youth group rollerskating. Kylie was with me, and Josi showed up. It was lots of fun, and I didn't even fall down once! Here we are eating pizza.

Visiting

Kylie visited with me this week. We went to visit Mommo at the "nursery" home, as Kylie calls it. She always has such an interesting twist to her words: "cauliflower" for flour, "presidents" for presents.

It was my 49th birthday party. Entertainment for the evening was provided by a brother and sister duo with limitless energy. Everyone present was totally captivated by their performance.

Graduation

Graduation day finally arrived.

This is the big one that almost got away. We took the youth group fishing over the weekend. I think this bass is the largest fish I've ever caught.

The Leggett Family appeared at a benefit concert in the park pavilion Saturday. Granddaughter Kylie played various accompanying instruments.

Knitting in the round

I found these neat knitting circles at WalMart on our Valentine's Day trip. Josiah and I set to making toboggans. He finished his in short order and gave it to a friend for V-Day. I got this far and got busy with other things. I'll try to post a picture of the finished product when I'm done.
